The Hobart 00-343432-00003 Element 3400 W 480V transforms electrical energy into heat to heat and sustain the temperature of the oven during cooking. It has a heating capacity of 3400 watts and is intended to be used in 480-volt electrical systems in compatible commercial systems. The element is mounted in the oven, where it is mounted into the specially designed heating receptacles and is connected to the internal electrical circuitry. It resistive coil produces heat that is passed onto the surrounding air and the walls of the cooking chambers and the heating process helps in maintaining cooking and baking processes.
