The Vulcan Hart 00-404053-00001 Door Spring is used to support proper opening and closing of a commercial oven door. It is 6 inches long and has 34 coils made of 13.5" wire which give a controlled resistance to balance the weight of the door during use. The spring is fitted in the door hinge mechanism and is usually replaced when the tension becomes weak with time. In the door assembly, it is essential to ensure smooth movement, proper alignment and accurate door operation in commercial cooking conditions.
