Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to servicing the unit, ensure the oven is disconnected from its power source and adhere to lockout/tagout protocols.

Step 2: Take out the oven racks to allow unobstructed access to the area surrounding the heating element.

Step 3: Identify the current heating element located at the back of the oven and detach its electrical connections.

Step 4: Remove the old heating element from its mounting bracket by unscrewing or unfastening it.

Step 5: Examine the replacement element (00-961358) in comparison to the old one to confirm that the dimensions and lead orientation are identical.

Step 6: Place the new element into the mounting bracket and secure it using the original fasteners.

Step 7: Reattach the electrical connections to the new element, ensuring they are secure and correctly positioned.

Step 8: Reinsert the oven racks and turn the power back on.

Step 9: Verify the oven's functionality by initiating a cooking cycle to check for consistent and effective heating.
