The Groen 001594 Dual Scale Vacuum Pressure Gauge W/1/4 inch MPT Bottom 2-1/2 inch DIA is a replacement part used in commercial cooking appliances. It has a 2-1/2 inch dial with a 1/4 inch MPT connection on the bottom which allows it to be used in both ranges with accuracy. This is commonly used with steam kettles, pressure cookers or other pressure-controlled appliances and enables operators to keep an accurate check on the internal conditions. Service is required to mount it during replacement to keep it operational. It can be used with pressure regulators to make sure that the cooking performance remains constant.
