The Scotsman 02-4800-21 Chute Holder is a spare mounting bracket to be used with ice maker dispensers. It fixes the chute assembly in position to allow the flow of ice to flow smoothly out of the machine to the dispenser opening. It is placed in a commercial ice machine to hold the chute in place and allow it to be stable when dispensing ice more than once in a short time. Its purpose in the system is to ensure that the chute stays in the proper place, does not get misaligned or stuck and assist in the safe delivery of ice.
