The Montague 03499-1 Dial Thermostat is a mechanical temperature controller that is used to regulate heating components of commercial appliances. It has a KX-series control with a 3/16-inch by 12-inch copper capillary bulb, a calibrated dial, and a bezel that is used to mount the control securely. The unit is mounted in the control panel, and the sensing is made to the heated area of the appliance. It reacts to changes in temperature by switching on internal switch contacts. The component is installed together with the wiring of the system, fits in the mounting requirements, and ensures the controlled temperatures in the equipment.
