The Glastender 06001390 Evaporator Coil 16 1/2" X 4" is a heat exchange element that extracts heat from the circulating refrigerant, allowing it to turn into a vapor in the commercial coil tubing. It enables the refrigerant to change its phase continuously, as cooled air flows over the coil surface to transfer energy between the air and refrigerant loop, and the refrigerant is continuously circulated through internal channels to maintain the cooling effect. The coil is installed inside refrigeration cooling assemblys and is placed in the evaporator part of the assembly to ensure controlled temperature exchange during the system operation inside the system enclosure.
