Description
The Univex 1000509 Meat Grinder Plate controls the size of ground meat particles in commercial equipment. It measures 3/16-inch openings to determine the diameter of meat strands as they pass through the plate. During grinding, the rotating knife pushes meat against the plate and cuts it as the material moves through the holes. This process produces ground meat with a consistent coarse texture based on the plate opening size. The plate fits at the outlet end of the grinder’s grinding chamber and works with the cutting knife and auger to process meat for discharge.
