The Southbend 1013604 CCT Compression Nut 3/16" is used to provide a tight mechanical fit on compatible tubing connections. It is applied to compression fittings, in order to hold small-diameter lines without welding or soldering. Upon tightening, the nut puts pressure on the ferrule creating a seal around the tubing. It fits properly on 3/16-inch tubing because of its correct size. Proper installation assists in leak prevention, line integrity and can be disassembled in case of service or adjustment of attached components.
