The Garland 1020852 Hood Orifice is used in commercial cooking equipment that has burners. It is made of brass and is sized at 52 and mounted on the burner inlet with 3/8-27 threads and a 1/2 inch body length. It works by measuring the flow of gas before ignition, so that it can deliver the right amount of fuel to be burnt. This is used in foodservice to aid in the even distribution of flames and uniform heating. It is provided with burner valves that regulate the amount of fuel supplied, which adds to the work and maintenance of stable temperatures.
