The Ardco 15-15112-0004 Closer Torsion Rod is a mechanical part of the door closer with an assembly of a commercial door closer to provide a regulated force when closing the door. It is a spring-loaded rod that accumulates and releases energy and assists the door to go back to its closed state after being opened. Fitted to the door closer system of access doors that are walk-ins, freezers, or other hinged doors at the access door, this torsion rod operates through arms and hinges rate at which it closes, and impacts on the opposite side are minimized.
