The Duke 153109 Oven Dual Solenoid Gas Valve is a durable 1/2” FPT valve for natural gas applications. This valve is designed to control the flow of gas to ovens and is ideal for operation at 120V. The two solenoid design makes it easier to switch between the two states of gas flow, making it suitable for ovens that need precise control of the gas flow. It is also designed to work with an LP conversion kit #511059 for various uses. This provides a surety of operation, safety and easy maintenance which makes it more suitable for kitchen parts.

  • How do I install the Duke 153109 Dual Solenoid Gas Valve?

    • Shut-off the gas supply and power to the appliance and ensure the system is vented of residual pressure.
    • Remove the existing valve assembly by disconnecting the wiring from the dual solenoids and unscrewing the ½″ FPT inlet/outlet connections.
    • Mount the new valve, ensuring the flow direction and port orientation match the original and all gasket surfaces are clean.
    • Connect the wiring to 120V coil terminals exactly as original, and secure the valve with proper torque on the fittings.
    • Restore gas supply and power, then perform a leak test with soap solution on all joints and a functional test of the valve actuating under control signal.
    • If converting to LP, install the conversion kit before commissioning.
