Description

The Hobart 18326 Pilot Safety Valve is designed to regulate gas flow and provide automatic shutoff protection in pilot-operated gas systems. It does this by, detecting a pilot flame and allowing gas to flow only, when secure operating conditions are present. The pilot flame is extinguished if it goes out, the valve cuts off the gas flow to prevent unregulated fuel flow. This part is installed in the gas control portion of compatible cooking equipment and is attached via a 1/2" FPT fitting.
