The Garland 1935701 3/8” NAT/LP Safety Pilot Valve is a safety device for ovens that use natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas. This valve comes with 3/8” FPT in and out ports and 1/4” CCT for the pilot outlet. Apart from being used as an important control unit that controls the supply of gas to the pilot light for the best performance of the oven, the part serves as a safety measure. The valve has a provision that if the pilot light is extinguished then the supply of the gas is immediately stopped to avoid leakage of gas. It improves safety as much as it regulates the amount of gas required to be supplied at any one given time.
