Description

The Duke 216864 Thermostatic Expansion Valve(TXV) Adjustable 54PSI is a refrigeration control component with a 54 PSI setting for compatible kitchen equipment. Installed in refrigeration circuit near evaporator inlet, the TXV meters liquid refrigerant into evaporator according to cooling demand. Its sensing mechanism responds to evaporator condition and regulates refrigerant flow entering the coil. This controls the amount of refrigerant available for heat absorption while maintaining the required evaporator operating conditions. The valve works with the compressor, condenser and evaporator as part of sealed refrigeration system, controlling refrigerant flow during the cooling cycle.
