The Garland 223242-43 Hood Orifice Brass is a replacement part of compatible commercial cooking equipment. The opening size of the burner #43 controls the flow of gas to the burner which facilitates uniform combustion and uniform flame action. It is positioned at the gas inlet point and is in cooperation with the valves and air shutters to ensure that the burners operate well. This orifice hood is changed during standard maintenance, burner adjustment or correction of performance problems with gas supply. It works the purpose of proper metering of the fuel in the appliance, which adds to the proper heat regulation and stable cooking conditions.
