Star Mfg 2FZ16681 Hotplate Grate

The Star Mfg 2FZ16681 Hotplate Grate is a cast grate that fits over hotplate burners and lets heat flow through the openings to cook food above the flame, but has a structured grid that lines up over burner zones to provide controlled exposure to the flame. It allows burner output to pass through its grid pattern to ensure flame contact with cookware bases, and helps to stabilize pots during the heating cycles, while providing consistent positioning across the active burner areas. It is designed to fit into commercial hotplate cooking units and range assemblies in food preparation stations and fits into burner layouts.
