The Hobart 3489A Pilot Tube is used to direct the gas of the supply valve to the pilot burner of commercial gas equipment. It is 3/16 inch in diameter and 24 inches in length and fits exactly in the ignition system of the appliance. This tube is fitted on the internal frame, and links fixed gas fittings to the pilot location. It is used in the system to supply controlled flow of gases needed to ignite the pilot in the stable. This component assists in proper operation and is frequently changed in the course of maintenance when limitations, leakages are detected in commercial use.
