Description

The Hobart 410687-1 Thermostat KX senses temperature and regulates the connected heating process in commercial equipment. The KX designation identifies the thermostat type, while 1/4 inch X 12-1/8 inch defines the sensing bulb dimensions, and 48 inch CAP specifies the capillary length. The bulb is positioned at the designated sensing point and links to the thermostat through the tube. As temperature changes at the bulb, the sensing element responds and transfers the change through the capillary. The thermostat changes its electrical contacts according to the selected temperature setting and this contact movement controls power to the connected heating section as temperature conditions change.
