The Hobart 498096-550 Thermostat Temperature 200-550F 36" GS 3/8" FPT is a temperature regulating part of commercial cooking equipment. It operates by detecting the heat by means of its temperature-sensing element and regulating the amount of energy that flows through it to keep the operating range between 200F and 550F. This thermostat is placed in the control system and is wired into a 3/8" FPT fitting.
