Star Mfg 6447 Food Warmer Thermostat W/18" Capillary 3/8" X 3-1/4" Bulb

The Star Mfg 6447 Food Warmer Thermostat is a commercial mechanical temperature-control component with an 18-inch capillary and a 3/8-inch by 3-1/4-inch sensing bulb. Installed in compatible food warmers, the bulb is positioned at the designated temperature-sensing location while the capillary connects it to the thermostat mechanism. As the sensed temperature changes, the internal mechanism responds by opening or closing the electrical contacts that control the heating circuit. This cycling action regulates power to the warmer's heating elements and maintains the selected operating temperature, it thermostat works with the capillary sensing bulb, wiring, and heating system during normal operation.
