The APW 69136 Limiting Thermostat 444-35 is a temperature controller in commercial foodservice equipment to avoid overheating by cutting off electrical power when the internal rise beyond a set point. It is fitted inside the heating or control unit of the appliance and constantly measures the temperature and has a protective cutoff to ensure that internal parts of the appliance do not overheat and ensure stable operating conditions. This is installed or replaced by service users during maintenance or repair to recover over temperature protection and assist in the operation of equipment like warmers, ovens and other heated foodservice equipment.
