Description

The Franke 7912127 Flame Sensor is a detection part that is used to detect the presence of flames in compatible combustion systems. It operates on the concept of having its 1-3/8 inch probe in the burning space so that it can detect the presence of heat or ionisation of a flame and transmit the signal back to the control circuitry via the 1/4 inch 90 degree electrical tab. The sensor is mounted in the special burner socket where flame detection is needed. It helps in the safe and consistent operation process, whereby the system will check the presence of ignition and also react accordingly in case the flame is absent.
