Description

The Hobart 819396 Thermistor Probe is a temperature sensor system that is fitted in the compatible gas griddles to measure the temperature of the cooking surface. It monitors the temperature variations at the plate and transmits a signal to the control system which can then be used by the controller to adjust the burner output to keep the set temperature constant. The probe is attached close to or under the cooking surface where it is able to detect the heat accurately when it is in operation. It is typically installed in commercial kitchens and foodservice settings as a component of the temperature control system of the griddle that helps it maintain a consistent cooking performance in operation.
