Description

The Hobart 857207-3 Spark Ignition Module Controls the ignition sequence in gas-fired commercial cooking equipment. Installed within the appliance's electrical control compartment the module receives a call for heat from the control system generates a high-voltage spark at the ignition electrode and monitors the flame-sensing circuit to verify burner ignition. If a flame is not detected within the specified time the module interrupts the gas valve circuit to prevent unignited gas flow. It operates with the gas valve, ignition electrode, flame sensor and burner assembly provide controlled burner startup and secure operation.
