The Manitowoc 8660 Ice Machine Ice Thickness Probe is a sensor element fitted in compatible commercial ice machines to detect the amount of ice that has been accumulated in the freezing process. It monitors the level of the ice slab, and when it has achieved the necessary thickness, it gives a message to the control system to start the harvest sequence and be able to produce efficiently. This probe will fit within the evaporator inside and be connected to the control board in the machine.
