Description

The Hobart 9130991 Pilot Ignition Module produces the electrical signal that is needed to start the burner in gas-powered equipment. It operates by taking electrical input on the appliance control circuit and generating a high voltage spark which ignites the pilot flame on start-up. The module is fitted into the control compartment of compatible commercial cooking equipment, where the ignition system is found. The unit is connected to the pilot assembly, wiring harness and other ignition components within the appliance. It is applied in commercial foodservice equipment to start pilot flame ignition and assist in the gas burner start sequence when using the equipment.
