The Hobart 913102-24 K-Type Gas Safety Valve Body & Magnet Head Assembly is a gas shutoff mechanism used to permit gas flow only when a pilot flame is present and verified. It has a 3/8" NPT connection and a K-type pilot assembly, and it is used in pilot-controlled gas circuits. It is found in commercial cooking equipment, and it uses a magnet head that interacts with the protective valve to continue operation under normal pilot conditions. Its pilot-responsive design allows it to control fuel delivery to the burner system and provides to the appliance's flame-sensing protective operation.
