The Imperial 1037 Air Shutter is a part of commercial gas cooking equipment that is a combustion control component. It is 1-1/4 inches in size and is mounted on the burner venturi to control the quantity of air that is mixed with the incoming gas before ignition. In kitchen applications, combustion and a stable flame are attained with proper air adjustment. This enables the users to adjust the air intake either when setting up or servicing. It operates in the burner system with the gas orifice and maintains the air-to-gas ratio with the same amount of heat output and operation of the appliance.
