Description

The Amana AMA14189146 Microwave Antenna Kit is a waveguide-mounted assembly that transfers and disperses electromagnetic energy within compatible commercial microwave ovens. The antenna receives energy from the waveguide and redirects it into the cooking cavity, influencing the distribution of energy across the heating area. Installed at the designated antenna position, it works between the waveguide outlet and cavity to maintain the intended transmission path. Its mounting arrangement keeps the antenna correctly positioned during operation, while the surrounding components support controlled energy movement. This assembly plays a direct role in establishing the oven’s designed heating pattern.
