Blakeslee 07768 Dishwasher Thermostat

The Blakeslee 07768 Dishwasher Thermostat measures the temperature of the tank using a temperature-sensitive element that responds to the change in heat levels. When the sensing element detects an increase in temperature, it activates a mechanism of an internal switch that breaks the electrical power when the present point is achieved. The contacts reopen when the temperature drops below the calibrated range to permit heating up again. This is a cyclic operation that ensures thermal control during wash and rinse cycles. Installed in compatible dishwasher units, which are attached close to the wash tank or in the control housing, and it is connected to the heating circuit.
