The Blodgett 6498 Cool Down Switch is an electrical control component that is installed in compatible convection oven systems. This SPST switch works by closing or breaking the circuit in the cooling after the end of cooking cycles. It is mounted by a 7/8-inch by 1-1/2-inch panel opening, and is a part of the control interface to be operated directly. Its position in the oven system is a vital component of assisting controlled reduction of temperatures. Correct response to switch is used to save internal components and allow stable operation of the system during shutdown sequences.
