The Frymaster 8102170 Male Quick Disconnect 1/2" FPT is a gas line connector that should be used in commercial fryers. It enables secure and effective connection and disconnection of gas lines without the use of tools, which makes it convenient and safe during the process of cleaning or servicing of the fryer. The fryer has a 1/2" female pipe thread that is used to secure this quick disconnect fitting to the gas line in the fryer. The quick-release system is used to connect and disconnect the gas supply easily and it is used to assist the operators to move the fryer or service it safely without it leaking gas.
