The Manitowoc 000006837 Door Pin Sleeve is a replacement part that is used to cover the door pin and allow it to move freely in the door assembly of the commercial ice machine. It provides a low-friction surface on which the pin will slide, minimizing wear and eliminating contact between metals, which may result in sticking or damage. This sleeve is used to keep the door in the right position so that the door opens and closes properly with the least amount of noise. It is normally applied in the process of regular maintenance of parts to restore the accurate operation.
