The Southbend 1185533 Range Dual Coil Gas Solenoid Valve 120V 60Hz operates with an electromagnetic coil that opens and closes the valve to allow or restrict flow of gas when necessary. The dual coil design allows the valve to be controlled, by making sure that the valve is responsive to the electrical signals passing through the system. This solenoid valve is installed in the gas flow assembly, which is one of the main elements that control the supply of fuel to the burners to ensure they heat correctly.
