Description

The Duke 512765 Hi-Limit Thermostat is a temperature safety control used in commercial oven heating systems. It monitors the oven temperature and interrupts the heating circuit when the temperature rises above the thermostat’s preset limit. Installed within the control or heating circuit it works with the heating elements and primary temperature controls to prevent excessive heat conditions. When the temperature exceeds its limit the thermostat opens the electrical circuit and stops heat production. After the temperature returns to a secure range, the control can restore circuit operation depending on its design and reset configuration.
