The Market Forge 98-1673 Gasket cover front plate is a replacement part that is made to be used with other compatible equipment that has a 12-inch opening. It is designed to cover and cushion the gasket region in order to assist it to be in the right position to seal appropriately when in operation. This cover plate is attached to the front of the assembly into a specific location with no interference with other parts. In the wider system it is used with the gasket to aid in ensuring a better closure and assists in ensuring that it operates well as it is used.
