The Delfield 3516173-S Fan Guard is a replacement part that is applied to commercial foodservice equipment of 6-3/8-inch diameter assemblies that are compatible. It has plastic design and centres mounting holes at 7-1/2 inches, and is mounted over the fan to cover the blades and allow air to pass through. This guard is used to avoid accidental contact with moving fan blades and also to allow the correct ventilation in the unit. It is placed as a part of the cooling or air circulation system of the equipment that support to provide secure operation.
