Hobart 00-918318 Membrane Keypad Switch FT900

The Hobart 00-918318 Membrane Keypad Switch operates by relaying user input by use of a sealed membrane, which transmits electrical signals to the control system when keys are pressed. The keypad layers have each press completing a circuit, which enables programmed commands to be identified and executed by the equipment. This keypad is attached to the front control panel of compatible FT900 series units, which is in line with the display and internal control board. The assembly contains printed key graphics, conductive traces, and an adhesive backing to allow the assembly to be firmly attached to the machine to ensure that the operator interface and the electronic controls of the machine interact consistently during normal operation.
