Description

The Southbend 1190642 Oven Broiler Ignition Module is an component part intended for use in gas, supplied with 120 VAC/ 50/60Hz electrical current. The timed ignition process is what it regulates so as to burn gas safely and effectively each time the oven is switched on. This module has a fast ignition time of about 10 seconds and works well in temperatures between -40°F and +175°F. Step1: Disconnect oven power before starting.

Step2: Open the control panel to locate the module.

Step3: Unplug wiring harness from the old module.

Step4: Remove screws and take out the faulty unit.

Step5: Mount the new ignition module securely.

Step6: Close the control panel, reconnect wiring, restore power, and verify ignition sequence.
