The Vulcan Hart 00-428300-00001 Knob is a manual control of the burner settings on compatible commercial ranges. It is attached to a 1/4-inch D-shaped valve stem and fits on the front control panel of the range. The operator controls the flow of gas or amount of heat produced in the cooking process by turning the knob. This knob is the direct interface between the user and the internal control valve, and it allows the operating temperatures to be adjusted exactly in the kitchen.
