The Southbend 1170337 Pointer Knob is a control interface component that was used on compatible assemblies of ovens with timer and control boards. It works by enabling the user to control settings by rotation in line with the control shaft. It is mounted on a 0.25-inch shaft and gives the user a clear positioning reference of the settings picked. The knob alignment can be used to make sure that there is consistency in adjusting the position of the timer or control board when the oven is used on a regular basis.
