The Garland G02716-1 Ranger Thermostat Knob is a control interface component that is fitted on compatible assemblies. It has a diameter of 2-1/2 inches, which fits on the thermostat shaft so that the temperature settings can be adjusted manually. This knob has no insert or overlay, so it can be used in the case of external markings that are supplied separately. It converts rotational operator input to the thermostat mechanism within the control system. It is usually fitted when a service is being replaced so that correct control interaction is reinstated and adjustment is made when normal cooking is being performed.
