The Kolpak 518892565M Metal Threshold 39.2018" X 7.5" 30DP is a metal door threshold piece that can be used to join floor transitions and to seal the edge at entry point in commercial systems. It work by creating a raised interface at the bottom of a doorway where adjacent surfaces meet to direct how the door closes and minimise direct gap exposure and provide a controlled transition between adjacent flooring materials while still creating a defined entry boundary below the door. Usually placed at the floor level under an exterior or interior door opening to complete the doorway assembly and match with the door framing during installation.
