The Amana 53002004 Magnetron generates the electromagnetic energy required to heat and cook food in compatible commercial kitchen equipment. It converts high-voltage electrical energy into equipment frequency energy that is directed into the equipment cavity to heat food. Mounted within the internal electrical compartment, the magnetron works with the high-voltage transformer capacitor and waveguide to produce and transmit electromagnetic waves for the cooking process. Proper interaction between these components allows the equipment to deliver controlled heating while maintaining normal operation throughout each cooking cycle.
