The Cleveland FA05002-37 O-Ring is a sealing element applied to commercial steam kettle systems to exclude the leakage of steam and moisture during the operation. It is operated by creating a close-fit between mating surfaces during compression to ensure the same level of steam pressure in the kettle. This enables even distribution of heat to be used in controlled cooking. The O-ring is inserted in a specific groove in the steam connection point or cover interface of the kettle assembly where it helps in maintaining a proper system containment.
