The Vulcan Hart 00-719951-00052 Brass Hood Orifice is made to fit in commercial ranges using style burners. It has a 3/8 inch-27 threads, length 1/2 inch, and size 52 calibration, and is installed at the burner inlet to measure the gas flow before combustion. This component assists in the delivery of even heat and the performance of the flame in kitchen conditions. The hood orifice in the range gas system is used in conjunction with valves and burners to control the supply of fuel and stabilize the operating temperatures during constant commercial operation.
