The Jackson 4810-200-03-18 Dishmachines Solenoid Valve Diaphragm Cartridge & O-ring 1/2” JE forms part of the internal flow-control mechanism in a 1/2" solenoid valve with in commercial systems. When the solenoid is energised, the plunger movement changes the pressure acting on the diaphragm, allowing the valve to open and regulate water movement. When electrical power is removed, the diaphragm returns to its closed position and restricts the flow path. The O-ring provides sealing around the cartridge within the valve body. Installed inside the valve assembly, these components work with the coil, plunger, spring, and valve body during each operating cycle.
