The Blodgett 55131 Pilot Assembly is constructed to be used in natural gas convection and deck ovens which offers a stable source of ignition to the burner. This assembly controls and supplies a steady pilot flame which activates the main burner when necessary. It is installed in the gas system of the oven, and it operates with the thermocouple and gas valve to ensure safe operation. A well-operating pilot assembly facilitates proper temperature regulation. It is advisable to replace the pilot flame when it is unstable hard to light or cannot stay lit during normal usage of the oven.
