The American Range A11118 Fryer Pilot Orifice is used to control natural gas flow to the burner in commercial applications. It permits the passage of gas through a hole of 0.018 inches which enables the maintenance of stable ignition and constant pilot operation. This is mounted in the pilot assembly as a gas control system of the fryer. It is vital in the start-up of fryers and uniform heating in foodservice applications. The component is usually serviced or replaced in the course of maintenance pilot troubleshooting, or gas system inspection to ensure that it is properly used and operated.
